The Charter Schools Review Board (CSRB) has officially approved TMSA Charlotte’s relocation and expansion plans, marking a significant step forward in our commitment to delivering exceptional STEAM-focused education and addressing the growing needs of our student community.
What’s Happening?
1. Relocation of the Secondary Campus:
- The TMSA Charlotte secondary campus will move from 9108 Mallard Creek Road in Charlotte, Mecklenburg County, to a new, state-of-the-art facility at 7550 Ruben Linker Road in Concord, Cabarrus County.
- Facility Highlights:
- Spans 94,000 square feet on 24 acres.
- Includes 55 classrooms and labs, a gymnasium, and outdoor sports fields.
- Will serve students in grades 6-12.
2. Expansion of the Elementary Campus:
- TMSA Charlotte’s elementary school will expand to a second location at 355 Poplar Crossing Drive NW in Concord, Cabarrus County, while maintaining its current campus at 8701 Mallard Creek Road in Charlotte.
- New Facility Features:
- 70,000 square feet on 8.2 acres.
- Additional classrooms, a gymnasium, and outdoor playfields.
